Music Supervisor

After leaving school Cassie followed her love of music and has been very fortunate to have worked in the industry ever since, gaining over 25 years of experience. Following 20 years working at various record labels in Australia (Sony, EMI, ABC and Universal) and the UK (Sony), in publicity and marketing roles, Cassie decided to enter the world of publishing and sync licensing. After working at Kobalt as Licensing Assistant, Cassie joined the Music Mill team in 2019 where her passion for music continues. Cassie enjoys discovering new music, rediscovering old gems, and learning more about the creators behind them. She’s always up for the challenge of finding the right song to fit a brief!

Cassie loves going to as many gigs as she can, whether it’s to see new or established acts. She has two daughters, a Spoodle called Bernie, and is a big fan of a variety of sports including swimming, boxing and netball. She also loves watching the cricket!

Current and all-time favourite artist: Very hard to narrow it down but if I have to pick one it would have to be “the Modfather”, Paul Weller.
